The cast and crew of Make Your Move gathered together in Los Angeles on Monday, March 31st. The occasion? The premiere screening of their movie, Make Your MoveAnd what a star-studded event it was!

Leading man Derek Hough was there for his first screening with his fellow cast mates, and all the way from Korea … leading lady, BoA!

Also in attendance was the screenwriter and director of the film, Duane Adler; co-stars, Wesley Jonathan, Will Yun Lee and Izabella Miko, as well as famed choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo (NappyTabs); Rich Ting (Oku); Allison Holker, Yako Miyamoto, Miki Ishikawa, and Tiffany Daniels (Cobu Girls); choreographer and tapper Nick Gonzalez Erin K. Dillon and Joel High (music directors from Creative Control).

Special guests were Adam Shankman (Hairspray, Rock of Ages, So You Think You Can Dance), Tony Basil (Mickey), Mark Ballas, Sharna Burgess, Lindsay Arnold, Witney Carson, Kym Johnson (Dancing With the Stars), Stephen “tWitch” Boss (So You Think You Can Dance), Jenna Effman (Dharma and Greg); Tony Selznick (MSA Agency)

Other premiere attendees were actor Noah Urrea, singer Miguelito, singer/songwriter Lundson Knighten, singer Taylor Bright, Make Your Move producer Robert Cort, dancer Sasha Farber, actor Adam Garcia, and choreographer Jade.

This special screening event was to benefit the Dizzy Feet Foundation which was founded by Nigel Lythgoe (So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol), who was also in attendance. The purpose of the Dizzy Feet Foundation is to “to support, improve, and increase access to dance education in the United States”. Derek Hough is part of the Choreographers’ Council of the Dizzy Feet Foundation.
