Izabella Miko is a Polish ballet & modern dancer, actress, and environmentalist. She moved to New York City from Poland at 15 years old after accepting a scholarship to the School of American Ballet. However, Izabella experienced a dance career ending injury at the age of 17 and quickly turned her focus into acting. Her first movie role was in Jerry Bruckheimer’s ‘Coyoto Ugly’. She has also appeared in the films ‘The Forsaken,’ ‘Bye Bye Blackbird’, ‘Save the Last Dance 2’, ‘Clash of the Titans’, ‘Repo’, and ‘Age of Heroes’. Izabella’s television work includes: ‘Deadwood’, ‘The Cape’, and ‘Law and Order: Special Victims Unit’. Interestingly, Izabella’s portrayal of a circus trapeze artist in the early 1900s in ‘Bye Bye Blackbird’ was the perfect combination of Izabella’s most talents. Izabella prepared for this role with a rigorous, three-month, training schedule on both the flying and static trapeze. This newfound skill earned her roles on ‘The Cape’ and in ‘Cobu 3D’.
One of Izabella’s passions is the protection of the environment. She created an eco foundation called EkoMiko and created her own sustainable candle line called “EkoMiko Candles”, made out of coconut butter wax, in order to raise money for her eco foundation.
Izabella plays ‘Tatianna’ in ‘Make Your Move’, who works for Nick (Wesley Jonathan) as an aerialist and dancer in his club.
