Robert W. Cort is an American film producer who has produced 48 films since 1985 that have grossed over $2.5 billion in worldwide box office. Prior to working in the film industry, Robert was an analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency in the 1970s. Once in the film industry, Robert has held prominent positions for Columbia Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, and Interscope Communications. He is a published author with a novel that became a bestseller, in addition, to articles and essays published in The New York Times and The New Yorker. Robert is also currently a professor of production on the faculty of The American Film Institute.
