Derek Hough

1) Derek met BoA for the first time here at a concert in Los Angeles.
2) Make Your Move 3D is Derek Hough’s 2nd movie, but it’s his first leading role. He had a cameo appearance in the first Harry Potter film.
3)  Choreographer, Nick Gonzalez said of Derek: “My man has skills you can only dream of. So much respect to him for his hard work.”
4) Derek gained his acting skills at a prestigious performing arts school in London, Italia Conti.
5) Derek is a Latin dance champion, 3 time Emmy nominee in choreography, and a 3 time winner of the television hit show, Dancing With the Stars.
6) Derek is a dancer, singer, songwriter, actor, choreographer, director, producer,  guitarist, drummer, pianist, painter, drawer and probably other things we don’t know about.
7) Derek learned to play drums when he was 8 years old. He’s pretty good.
8) Derek is not only a dancer and actor, but an artist as well. What can’t he do?
9) Derek was a choreographer for Bruno Tonioli’s team on the London TV show Dance X. The team won the competition.
10) Derek played Ren McCormick, the leading role in Footloose on the West End in London, the equivalent of Broadway in England.
11) Derek earned a nomination as the Theatre Newcomer of the Year for his professional leading role in Footloose. 
12) Derek’s fans expand all age groups, with the normal 16-20 million viewers of Dancing With the Stars being in the 18-49 year old age bracket, and one/quarter of them being over 65.
13)  Since the age of 13, Derek has danced around the globe: the United States, Japan, China, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, England, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, and Russia.
