Miki Ishikawa is an American actress, singer, and dancer. Miki is best known for her work on Nickelodeon, landing a recurring role on the popular TV series ‘Zoey101’. Other television work include: ‘Lincoln Heights’ and ‘The United States of Tara’. She has also appeared in the movies ‘Yours, Mine, and Ours’ and ‘Funny People’.
Miki was given a great opportunity when she became a signed recording artist with Walt Disney Records with the group “T-Squad” (from 2005 to 2008) having an album released in 2007 and toured with the Jonas Brothers, Cheetah Girls, Everlife, Miley Cyrus, B5, and many more. She has since left the group to pursue a solo career in the U.S. and Japan.
Miki also is a passionate volunteer for “Tap Project”, a project under UNICEF and one of its largest projects in over 50 years. With over 900 million people lacking access to clean water and 4,200 children dying every day from water borne diseases, the goal is to decrease that number to zero and raise awareness that just $1 could provide for 40 children of water in a single day. Joining this cause, Miki was able to produce/ co-direct the 1st benefit concert for the Tap Project entitled “Tap With A Beat.”
Miki plays ‘Natsumi’ in ‘‘Make Your Move’’. She is part of Aya’s (played by BoA Kwon) Cobu Girls dance crew, the girlfriend of Kaz (played by Will Yun Lee), and Aya’s friend and roommate in the film.
